Do you take insurance?

Yes. I am in-network for most major insurance providers. I also accept cash with a discount for payment on or ahead of the date of service. If you are concerned about coverage or cost, please contact me to see if there is a way to make therapy affordable for you.

What ages do you typically work with?

While I have experience with clients ages 3-70, I am currently taking clients who are 13 years and older.

Do you work with couples?

Definitely! A significant portion of my training, past clinical experience and current caseload is focused on working with couples and families. However, be advised that some issues family members would like to work on and some types of therapy are not reimbursable through health insurance. If you have any questions about this, I am happy to provide a brief phone consultation to determine what would be appropriate for your situation.

What kinds of therapy do you do?

My way of viewing people has a strong foundation in attachment theory (even for adults!) and well as trauma-informed best practices. I have training and clinical experience in the following modalities:

  • Solution-Focused Brief Therapy
  • Narrative Therapy
  • Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy
  • Emotionally-Focused Therapy (Including the Gottman Method)
  • Expressive Arts Therapy
  • Psychodynamic and other Insight-Oriented Therapies
  • Sandtray Therapy
  • Play Therapy
  • Experiential Therapy

Do you provide telemedicine (remote video-based therapy)?

Yes! While I prefer to work with clients in person, when distance or medical conditions are a barrier to attending therapy I am able to provide therapy via video conferencing. Please contact me for more information on how this works and how it may be covered by your insurance.
